QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTION

Designed in consultation with leading industry professionals, The ADMT Diploma of Musical Theatre course offers students comprehensive preparation for a career in musical theatre, cabaret performances, commercial dancing or to articulate into university and further their education and professional development.

At this level, individuals are expected to apply theory and creative skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities. They have autonomy in performing complex technical operations and can be responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the work of others.

COURSE DURATION

• 12 months full-time
• 2 years part-time

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for the Diploma of Musical Theatre are required to:

• Submit an Application form
• Audition
  • Entrants are required to demonstrate competence in vocal, dance and acting technique at a Cert IV level
• Interview

*The Diploma of Musical Theatre has a minimum age requirement of 16 years
