DIPLOMA OF DANCE TEACHING AND MANAGEMENT (CUA50313)
Students who enter the Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management will have either completed the Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management course or its equivalent. The Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management is intended for those who wish to build on the knowledge and skills delivered in the Certificate IV and wish to refine their teaching and studio management skills. The Diploma course is an extension of the Certificate IV course taking students to the next level of teaching. Diploma students will have more practical experience teaching students at a higher level and creating more complex choreography and performances.
This qualification reflects the role of dance teachers and dance studio managers who have the cognitive and communication skills to transmit knowledge and skills to others. At this level, individuals are expected to apply theory and creative skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities.

- Dance studio manager or teacher
- 12 months full-time
- 2 years part-time
Applicants for the Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management are required to:
- Submit an Application form
- Have completed the Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management
- Entrants are required to demonstrate competence in dance technique at a Cert IV level
*The Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management has a minimum age requirement of 17 years
