CERTIFICATE I, II AND III IN DANCE (Ballet, Tap, Jazz or Contemporary) (CUA10113)

QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTIONS

All enrolled students at The Theatre Factory are eligible to receive nationally recognised certificates for their after school dance training. Certificates I through III in Dance gives students strong foundations in dance technique, performance and safe dance practices and opens pathways to further dance performance education. Rewarding your child’s love of dance.

CERTIFICATE I

This qualification allows learners to develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare for work in the live performance industry. The ranges of dance techniques associated with this qualification is limited.

CERTIFICATE II

This qualification is a preparatory qualification that allows learners to develop basic technical skills and knowledge to prepare for work in the live performance industry.

CERTIFICATE III

This qualification reflects the role of a person working in a varied context in the live performance industry, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

 

COURSE DURATION

• 12 months full-time
• 2 years part-time

Applicants for the Certificate I in Dance are required to:

• Submit an Application form
• Interview

*Certificates I, II and III have no minimum age requirements
